Hoosiers Public School Scores Rise

Indiana now ranks seventh in the nation for math at grade 4, up from 21st place two years ago. Indiana eighth graders come in 17th in the nation in math. That's unchanged from 2005.

In reading, Indiana ranks 27th in the nation at grade 4, up from 31st place two years ago. Indiana is 25th in grade 8 reading, up five places from two years ago.
